HYDERoom presents Kuromisa 2019 in Furano

I wanted to write about my memories from Kuromisa 2019 in Furano.
I wrote about how I went to Kuromisa 2019 because most of the fans wrote reports of the event or their impressions of the dinner show.

It has some differences every year, but I’d be happy if my blog can be useful to you in the future.
*My report is about course A2 (Saturday-Monday). Course A1(Friday-Sunday) schedule might be a little different.

  ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー

I attended Kuromisa 2019 in Furano.

And, I attended course A2.

I wanted to enter the lottery for course A1 but I saw a poll on Twitter asking “which course will you enter?”
I changed my mind, ‘cause most of the answers were course A1, which means the chance of winning the ticket is low.

Kuromisa covers only the transport cost from Haneda airport to Shin-Chitose Airport so all the participants go to Haneda airport by themselves.

I took a night bus so I arrived in Tokyo in the early morning. I had some free time so, I went to a nail salon called Atelier Haruka. I had my nails done💅

f:id:naa666lec:20200403171406j:image
I chose a nail color match with the outfit I'm going to wear for Kuromisa.

I recommend this salon to you if you want to have your hair, eyebrows, or nails done before you leave Tokyo for the event.

After this, I and all the fans checked in at the event counter in the airport, checked our bags, and boarded the plane after the baggage check. So far, there’s no guide or a spot for a meeting.
We gathered when we arrived at Shin-Chitose Airport.
We had free time for about 50min. It was my first chance to be able to buy a souvenir.
I bought lavender and melon face masks for my friends.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403171501j:image

Also, I bought two hand creams one for my friend who is a hyde fan and one for me.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403171603j:image
I bought those from a shop called Craft Studio on the 2nd floor of Shin-Chitose airport. But no need to rush.
You can buy souvenirs from the hotel’s shops or the airport, on your way home.

We rode a bus and went to dinner.
On the bus, I heard an announcement that said, "you could see the illumination from the window".

f:id:naa666lec:20200403171745j:image
We didn't have a break time. We reached Prince hotel in Sapporo in about 1 hour.
Every bus has its dinner table but you can choose your seat.
And, finally, time for dinner, a buffet!
There were fish, meat, and sweets (but it was hard to dish up because it was so crowded.)

f:id:naa666lec:20200403171722j:image

I didn't eat so much because I was so tired of going around buying lots of souvenirs... I wanted to eat more sushi, haha

Most participants were alone. If you attended Kuromisa alone, you can make some friends.

After dinner, we went to the lounge to drink original cocktails.
There were cocktails called ZIPANG(with alcohol) and ANOTHER MOMENT(without alcohol).
I drank ZIPANG because it was made with violet syrup. I liked it.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403171829j:image

I heard that if I have enough time, I could walk around the hotel.
I came back to the bus after 2 hours from dinner.
Finally, we went to Furano.
The bus stopped in a service area and I could see the ground covered with fluffy snow!

f:id:naa666lec:20200403171915j:image
I said ”Finally I’m in Hokkaido!”, I was excited. And, we reached Furano Prince Hotel. The trip was so long. I arrived at about 11 PM because there was a traffic jam.

I was given a meal coupon, a hot spring ticket, and a room key, I went to my room.
I heard the hot spring was so crowded. You should use the bath in your room If your schedule is tight.

This year's present is a dish.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403180251j:image

f:id:naa666lec:20200403180246j:image

Also, there were questionnaires for the Question Corner, message cards, and kind of stamp cards in the room. I needed to carry the stamp cards with me because I needed them to buy merchandise and eat limited edition sweets.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403172411j:image

My roommate entered the room when I was taking a lot of photos.
She was the same age as me.
That was probably a consideration from the staff to put us together.

We introduced ourselves to each other.
Also, We talked about tomorrow's plan and that we have to try to go to bed as early as possible.

The next morning, finally, it's Kuromisa day.
I was so busy because I had many things to do.

First of all, I had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant.
We had two options for breakfast, a buffet or breakfast from the bakery.
We chose the buffet because my roommate said she wanna have it! Also, I remembered the milk and french toast they serve there taste very good.

The other fans told me "You eat a lot", haha.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403172602j:image
I drank a few milk bottles.  I wanted to try all the foods on the menu.

After breakfast, I went to a shop called Drama-kan it’s nearby the hotel exit next to the souvenir shop.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403172726j:image

I bought chocolate-covered coffee beans that were sold in the cafe called Mori-no-Tokei for me and a friend I’m going to meet at the MMXX concert next month.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403172944j:image
I popped in Ningle-Terrace (It’s an area that has many different shops) but they were still closed.

I had to return to the hotel because the limited edition sweets event was about to start.
I thought it is better to get there before it starts. (the event starts at 11 am). I can do my other plans later.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403180455j:image

f:id:naa666lec:20200403180449j:image

I had two drink options, coffee or tea.

I came back to my room again and I went to the goods corner.

Make sure you don't exhaust yourself too much because you're going to line for the goods for about 1 hour. And take your tote bag with you to put your goods inside.

I submitted my question. There were a lot of questions.

I could get an initial charm if I spent more than 20,000yen.
So I had a hard time considering what I should buy.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403173331j:image

f:id:naa666lec:20200403173327j:image

After all, I bought all items except Matryoshka.
Tiny edyh was sold randomly and it’s possible to buy only 6 pieces. (If it doesn't get sold out, you can get a chance to buy it again before the Kuromisa dinner show starts.)
I got most types of tiny edyh. I'm lucky.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403173451j:image

They were selling a wine that was produced by HYDE called Eucharist near the goods corner.
I was so regretful when I didn't buy it last time on Kuromisa 2015. So finally I got it. I was happy.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403173528j:image
The shipping might be late if you don’t want to use the shipping service then you must take it home by yourself while praying that it’ll arrive safely. And it’s possible to use a credit card as a payment method at the goods corner but it’s impossible at the wine corner, only cash is allowed.

And, I came back to my room again, to put the goods I bought.
Next, I went to a cafe called "Morino-Tokei". HYDE loves this cafe

f:id:naa666lec:20200403173631j:image
I stood in line outside. I spent the longest time there. If you're going there, you should take snow gloves, a scarf, and hot packs with you.

But time went by so fast when I was talking with my friends.
The shape of the snowflakes was visible so I took some photos.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403180544j:image

I ate a lot that morning for breakfast. I was full, so we ordered coffee and shared curry and stew together.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403180727j:image

f:id:naa666lec:20200403180723j:image

The cafe is crowded, but If you're lucky enough, you could get a bar seat and a chance to grind the coffee beans.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403174158j:image

I was lucky and got it when I went to kuromisa 2015.

I walked around the Ningle Terrace and went back to the hotel. It’s time to get prepared for Kuromisa dinner show. I got dressed in one piece and pumps. I took only the valuable things with me. (A tote bag, or a handbag, won’t bother anyone around you) The dress code is "smart casual". It’s like wedding party dresses.
And, fans were wearing a variety of colors.
The event name is 黑ミサ(kuromisa means black mass) but you don't have to wear kuro(black).
Everyone was so stylish, I enjoyed seeing everyone’s costumes.

I lined, showed my ticket, gave my name label, and told me my sheet number. My name in the name label was written by a very big font.(They asked me before about the name I would like HYDE to call me by it. )At that time, I was asked if I want to buy more goods.

In the venue, there were many circle tables.
I was surprised because my seat was in front of the stage.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403182116j:image

There was a menu with my name in my seat.
Everyone had their own assigned seat.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403181541j:image
I took a picture of every dish.

They served us Furano white wine in an original design glass of Kuromisa.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403181648j:image
I could order a non-alcoholic drink too.

Finally, the dinner show started when I finished eating dinner.

The dinner show had a video summing all the year's events, talk corner (Q&A), and acoustic performance.

We saw the video at first. I was so moved because there were some cuts from Kuromisa Birthday concert.
And he answered a question about the usage of Matryoshka dolls. He answered many different questions.

Finally, the acoustic concert has started. almost all the songs in the setlist were from ROENTGEN. WHITE SONG was so impressive, especially after I saw the snow earlier. He told us about his memory of every song and he sang his favorite song. The setlist was so rare. The most impressive was his cover of Off Course’s Meguru Kisetsu.
It is a very special song for HYDE.
His memory about this song is when he rode his bike for 40 minutes in winter to see his friend who moved away.

At that time, he liked the band Off course, and his friend had their album.
This song was included in the album, and he and his friend listened to it together.
He stared at his friend’s room, and he felt that his friend started a new life.

I can’t express my feelings well, but I imaged the temperature he felt, the wind he felt, his sadness, and their friendship while I was listening to the song.

There is another thing I can never forget. He said the reason behind writing “a Colorless landscape” in SHALLOW SLEEP.  He remembered someone say that dreams have no color.
I was so happy to hear SHALLOW SLEEP. I like it, but it wasn’t on the setlist when I attended Kurosmisa last time.
I understood from the lyrics that the protagonist is dead.
I felt HYDE's unique world from his talk and performance. That what makes Kuromisa worth attending.

After the show, there was an announcement that they will give us something the next morning. They asked us to come to the reception counter at 8 am.
That “something” is a photo.

And it’s time to shake HYDE’s hand after the dinner show.

I can take the table cloth, wine glass and the chair cover that I used. I left them on the table with other bags because I will return to my seat after I shake HYDE’s hand. I was so nervous because I was waiting for a long time.

In the meantime, I took some pictures of the stage.
If your turn is early, you should take pictures of the stage after you shake HYDE’s hand.
And if your turn is late, you should take pictures of the stage before you shake HYDE’s hand. After the show was over, the area in front of the stage was so crowded.

The handshake's queues are by the tables' order. A staff called my name and I lined. I left the venue and entered a room with dim lighting. I saw a booth, I found HYDE there.  At that moment, a fan was shaking his hand. I couldn’t see HYDE’s face very well because the booth wall prevented me from seeing it. But I heard HYDE’s voice. His voice made me very nervous.

I told him, “Your singing was so good today. I had a great time”.

I came back to my seat and got my bags.
I was planning to go to Sho's bar with my friends after the event. But we couldn't. Because it was so crowded. If you want to go there you have to make a reservation.

I went to my room and I checked my hands.
I found a small glitter piece in my hand.

f:id:naa666lec:20200405000718j:image

The last day's breakfast was also a buffet.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403182314j:image
They didn't serve french toast today. I was so sad.

They give me the photo they took yesterday. Then I went back to my room.

I took my bags and went to the reception.
I rode the bus. It’s time to say goodbye to Furano.
A staff explained airport procedures.
She said a lot entered the lottery of Kuromisa this year, but only you won the lottery. you are lucky.
I think this year’s attendees for both days are about 200. I wonder how many fans entered the lottery.

f:id:naa666lec:20200403183624j:image

All that time, I saw the snow landscape from the bus window.

The last time we were leaving Furano, the bus's staff played ROENTGEN for us. I enjoyed looking at the white snow while listening to it.
But this time, the staff didn't play it.
I was sad cause I was looking forward to it.
I listened to it by myself while I was looking at the white landscapes.

I arrived at the airport, deposited my luggage. I had some free time.
It was the last chance to buy souvenirs.
I rode the airplane and reached Haneda airport.
And I got my luggage. It was about 3 pm.

The above is my memories from Kuromisa.

☆Other points☆

Even if you are in the same course as your friend, the schedule might change depending on the bus number assigned to you.
Flight times, dinner times, and bus departure times vary by an hour or so, so if you happen to have friends on the same course, they won't necessarily be able to join you.

You can’t change your bus, but the seating is unreserved.

Wearing snowshoes is recommended as snow-covered roads will be slippery.
